Santo
Yorksher for me Would you say that's the same as Yorkshah? I say Yorkshah.
fatrajah
When people say 'bokkle' instead of bottle. Grrrr! It does make me smile when the Irish say 'fillum' instead of film. Geordies say "fillum" too.
Bodie
Would you say that's the same as Yorkshah? I say Yorkshah. I've had to repeat it in my head a few times. To type the accent in is not too easy when you have to think. Yorksher Yorksha - either or....definitely no sheer or shire. Absolutely is one that grates me Why do people say 'apsolutely'?? There is NO P anywhere in absolutely
Gormenghast
What really annoys me is people saying nucular instead of nuclear. The second part of the word is "clear" not "cular"
Fogey
When I went to uni everybody took the mickey out of my Sheffield accent, impersonating me and making fun. That stopped in the second year, over the summer holidays they had all gone home and been told they were picking up a Yorkshire accent.

carosio
Bush should be pronounced similarly north or south.
andrejuan
I did a speech recently, obviously I put a bit of effort in to pronounce words correctly and get the grammar right (most of us lapse a bit in everyday chat). When I saw/heard recordings of myself I was shocked how many H's I dropped and even worse how many T's had been left out. That's a true northerner I suppose.
