The Black Thunder Revue are a Sheffield based dirty, bluesy Rock n Roll band. With influences firmly set in Mississippi blues they bring a fresh and exciting sound.

 

Featuring scene stalwarts Andy P Davison and Mark Lyall, they're a rock n’ roll band full of passion and melody. Originally formed in 2007 under the name Socrates Johnson they continue to build their reputation as a quality live act since coming together in their new form in 2013. The sound is rooted in Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll, but draws on many styles.
