It's not about sterner stuff, it's about people not wanting to be hassled by a dosser on their way in and out of a store. They are a nuisance and I am sure places like McDonald's, Tesco etc are getting fed up of it.

Still doesn't bother me - if I want to go in a shop, I do - just ignore the obstruction.

Manners - and common sense - seems lacking in some.

True. In fact manners seem in short supply accross the forum these days. Sly digs, personal insults, lies, defamation etc etc.

It can get quite trying at times so with that in mind I'm doing as SFBeca told us and just hit the report button

Disagreement is fine, an exchange of views is good, banter can be fun but unfortunately some people don't know where to draw the line.

Its not a good look though , is it ?

I know the owner of the Blissful Daze wedding boutique on Glossop Road/West Street that closed down a few years ago. She said customers stopped coming in as the beggars/druggies outside were so bad, it put them off. It's definitely bad for business

I've not seen any personal insults towards forum members on this thread, apart from a certain Foxy poster calling someone a c***, or any  defamation.

I agree, which is why don't come on here unless my other haunts are very quiet. Can't be bothered with the report button (except for the sub-continent spammers) - Beca has enough to do.

Your right H.

I've been out this morning, one outside Home Bargains and one outside Poundland.

Theirs always one outside ASDA. I think he's got a permanent residency.

They don't bother me one bit, but it's getting a bit out of hand now......

As I stated, across the forum not necessarily this thread although I do object to how you describe rough sleepers. I realise its your shtick but if I may be so bold can your next character be a little bit nicer please?
