Edith Blades, D.O.B. 3 Feb 1909, housewife, married. Doreen Blades, D.O.B. 22 Nov 1927, school, single. Brenda Darwin/Blades, D.O.B. 9 Sep 1929, school, single. Record officially closed. Jean Blades, D.O.B. 9 July 1933, school, single. Last two entries officially closed. Doreen was buried 27 Nov 1946 at Burngreave Cemetery. Also in the same grave are: Alice Mary Blades, bur 1963. Jean Blades, bur 1940. Sylvia Blades, bur 1937. Walter Blades, bur 1929. (See Sheffield Indexers site for more details). 1911 census - 85 Newhall Road, Sheffield. Walter Blades, head, mar, 31yrs, Siemans furnaceman. Alice Mary Blades, wife, 27yrs. John Walter Blades, son, 5yrs. Albert Blades, son, 1 month. All born Sheffield. Moira.
