Trump / Clinton 2nd Presidential Debate

Recommended Posts

You're right. We need to get more racist and xenophobic. The leaving of the EU is helping this along nicely.

Stretching out, with trade further than the walls of Europe how is that more racist.

Trump was not even funny, in his presidential campaign, before he said that. But he was funny that time. He's basically conceded defeat and with a bit of style.

did you get the link right? opps is it you signature link?

just reviewed the 3rd debate.

Clinton is too old, in fact they are both too old and these two have easily the biggest aggregate age between the two main candidates in any US election ever.

average age for an incoming 1st-term president is about 55, same as it is for a British Prime Minister actually. Both of these two, are a lot older than that.

Trump is so useless that even though she was incredibly vulnerable at the outset of this campaign Clinton will still win very handily indeed and she'll get between 340 and 360 in the electoral college.

I think Trump is going to walk it, which is why the election is being rigged in favour of Hillary.

How likely do people think it is that if Trump loses he will call for an armed insurrection by "2nd Amendment people"?

Civil war in America is a very frightening possibility and has been getting more and more likely for quite some time.

It also could easily apply to either side. If Trump wins, how likely do people think it is that some US military top brass would stage a similar coup against the government, citing concern over nuclear launch codes and co-operation with Russia. They could enlist the support of substantial numbers of Americans that believe Trump is the new Hitler and of course the media would also be on their side.

people are worried he will do an Al Gore who again thought it was rigged and wanted a recount

People are also worried that the voting machines will not accurately record their votes. The voting machines have no paper trail, have backdoors in the software and are owned by George Soros shills.

It will be very difficult to refute the allegations that the elections were fixed when the establishment democratic candidate has been seen to endure an extended FBI investigation, in which multiple federal laws were clearly and intentionally broken, and there was clear evidence of corruption and collusion between the FBI and State Department. Clinton shouldn't really be allowed to stand.

Throw in evidence from WikiLeaks clearly linking the DNC to criminal efforts to incite violence at rallies, numerous examples of pay-to-play activities at the Clinton Foundation, blatant media collusion, etc, etc.

A simple recount wouldn't satisfy many people. Not anymore.

The discussion on QT last night was quite good. I thought.

As for any kind of civil war, I think the first option would be completely rejig the election process. It's old fashioned, probably was much better in the past (i.e. it's very outdated), and it's far far worse than ours, and ours isn't good!

One thing that is pretty consistent when watching Americans talk, is that it's a poor choice - and they aint wrong.
