Brian Equato
See pictures of Syria on TV and can't help hearing the words of Bernard Lee (M) in the Bond film you only live twice "This damn thing could blow up into a full scale war", Can't realistically do anything but watch from the sidelines and condemn in the UN I'm afraid and help the civilian victims as much as we can through aid agencies. ANGELFIRE1
Putin is a shrewd and experienced player, I can't imagine he wants to blow the world up. Trump and Clinton on the other hand are a worry. And who's to say who is actually in charge, is it the politicians or the bankers/vested interests, pulling the strings? 'World war lll' if it happens, is not necessarily going to go nuclear, but it will be a mess. It will certainly be a mess for us, where will we get our steel from to build the weapons we would require for a war. I bet we don't make or have the facility to make enough steel to construct one tank every week. Angel1.

It will not be from China as they would be firmly on the Russian side due to similar ideology it seems. Any way tanks will not be needed but a good supply of baked beans stashed away in the cellar may be worth its weight in gold.

apelike
Thats OK. Our tanks are made of Chobham armour, which is ceramic. Its a composite material, made in layers, contains ceramics has a specialist stainless steel framework and made in the UK. It also is not use on the whole tank and only on strategic parts that may easily be targeted.
