RiffRaff
Bit of a gap in posts here, but the father-in-law I mentioned earlier sadly gave up the ghost a month ago. Who knows how many more years his pacemaker gave him? Apart from the inconvenience of hospital visits for an occasional "recharge" and wiring check, it caused him no problems whatsoever. In life, he had a naughty-but-nice sense of humour, and I'm certain he'd be howling right now if he could see the three-figure bill that's just arrived for the pacemaker's removal prior to his cremation! What?! YOU'VE had to pay for its removal before cremation! Why?
