The Consequences of Brexit (part 2)

Recommended Posts

Embarassed and ashamed that I'd won it on pack of lies and xenophobia.

I'd have to agree to retract the lies by appearing on TV and by driving a bus around the country emblazoned with the words "WE LIED ABOUT £350M AND THE NHS. BREXIT WILL COST YOU LOTS".

I'd make sure those who committed the fraud were taken to court so that integrity can be restored.

Then I'd work out what the plan actually is and what "Brexit" means.

Then we'd go ahead with your absolutely honourable insistence for voting again.

The remain camp told lies so stop making out it was the leave camp that only told lies= http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/matthew-ellery/leave-lies-remainers-need_b_12191462.html

The leave camp won.......

The Huffington Post article is very good (if a little hard in its language).

Who would you like see prosecuted and for what lies?

You're extremely cross about the £350m/week claim, but you've never raised any similar objections to the 3 million jobs claim.

I've supported the #BrexitJustice crowd funding campaign who are looking at both leave and remain. They are planning the case at the moment.

Made it more explicit that #BrexitJustice is looking at both leave and remain.

Seems completely unnecessary. It was all discussed prior to the vote so the people voted in full knowledge of the claims made and the counters to them.

I don't know what the "3 million jobs claim" is. Do you have a picture of the bus with it on? Or it being carved in steel?

The thousands of words have faded but those images endure in my memory - which is of course why such imagery was used.

It has been mentioned numerous times on SF along with the leave campaign bus one. But in-case you missed it here is a BBC link about a the misleading claims made by both sides.

I'm at a loss to see how you can be comfortable speaking with such conviction on this matter here from a position of such profound ignorance of the wider debate.

It's as if you're operating under the delusion that the entire campaign consisted of a slogan on a bus.
