Hairyloon
You seem to accept the 'post hoc propter hoc' concept... I said that Brexit would be blamed, I didn't say that it would actually be the cause.
El Cid
Why do you think that? Everything that goes wrong for the next 30 years will be blamed on Brexit and the Government won't be held to account at all. I am hoping things will settle down before the next election. It can only be a good thing in the future, that Governments can't blame the EU about issues. ---------- Post added 05-01-2017 at 18:57 ---------- Google shows it 8" away And I guess Google will show the UK is only 7 1/2 " away from China

Jpeters
The trade deal will be thrashed out between UK, France and Germany. The rest will fall into line. However, what is an interesting possible consequence of Brexit is the crumbling of the EU. France and the Netherlands look like going, Greece will surely go, even Germany may have a referendum after the migrant crisis.

I agree, it will be the UK, France and Germany who will sort out BREXIT negotiations behind closed doors.

That isn't a consequence any more than the ship sinking is a consequence of the rats leaving.
