The Consequences of Brexit (part 2)

Recommended Posts

These partners should already be in place, and they are not.

If you were to leave a job you would make sure you had a job to go to before you gave your notice and called all the senior staff bungling incompetents.

Unless of course, you stormed out in a fit temper, only to regret it the day after.

That is what this brexit is, and the country will never recover.

It will be known forever more as the country that quit.

And now it has no friends.

You've not been following the news. Nations, some of them ancient allies and friends, are all but queueing up to be friends of the independent UK.

Call it what you want. We're reestablishing ourselves as an independent democratic nation state. There's nothing even slightly wrong with that.

:hihi::hihi::hihi: what planet you on this country has done what the people asked it to do and must now get on with it. many people around the world and the eu will look upon the uk as getting out of a failing club and wished they would have done sooner.

Broadly agree.

Some of us expect the EU to fail. We're not hoping for it. Not the same thing.

Agreed. How long do you think the Germans will continue to bailout the Greeks and probably the other Slavic nations?

And where are the 1 million arabs going to settle when they all get German/EU passports?

Well indefinitely if they want to form into a single federation. It's the halfway house indecision that's killing them.

Kent, probably?

After all, what's the point of leaving the EU and risking the economy, if you can't abuse foreigners in the streets with impunity anymore?

It's PC gorn maaad.

Reading some of the last few posts, I have never known such naivety.

It would be laughable if it were not so pathetic.

I hope you can make it alone in the world, because that is what you are going to have to do.

It is just not fair to the intelligent people in the country.

Obviously, you are a remainer,so you honestly think that the majority of the voters are thick. You want to sail on a sinking ship? the eu is not going to last,so it looks like the uk has done the right thing.
