Lawson Lee born 1927 married Betty M Birkhead in 1954. He died in 1993. I can't find any children

 

Was this Betty M Birkhead or Jessie M Birkhead?

Robert LEE (mother's maiden name MARRIOTT). birth registered in Wortley JUN Qtr 1953. There is also a Janet LEE registered in Wortley in MAR Qtr 1958, with mmn MARRIOTT.

Yes sorry about that I have a Betty and a Jessie in my tree - yours is Jessie m Birkhead.

John and Susannah Lee (the parents) are both buried in St. Mary's, Ecclesfield.

Susannah bur 19 Feb 1930 aged 79yrs and John bur 4 Nov 1933 aged 82yrs.

The address for both of them is 20 Nether Terrace.

ECCLESFIELD HERO'S DEATH

The death has taken place in the Royal Southern Hospital, Liverpool of

Mr A. Lee, aged 37, son of Mr and Mrs J. Lee, of 20 Nether Terrace, Ecclesfield.

Deceased served four years in France with the Coldstream Guards and on

demobilisation joined the police force in Liverpool. He was subsequently taken ill,

and conveyed to the hospital named, where he died from paralysis. While serving

with the Forces Mr Lee was seriously wounded and gassed.

I don't know if Arthur married. If he had, I would have thought she would be

Another line now George W Lee b 1878 married 1898 Florence Austerberry. We think they had two children: Fred Joshua b 1899 and Sydney b 1901. Fred Joshua married 1925 Gladys Earnshaw and Sydney married 1926 Jennie Reynolds. Did either of these have children?
