El Cid
I certainly don't believe in soft Brexit, the harder the better and as for unskilled jobs they can be filled by unskilled workers already here. When inflation, lower growth or recession kicks in, it might be our skilled workers doing the unskilled jobs. British economy ‘will turn nasty next year’, says former Business Secretary Sir Vince Cable. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/sir-vince-cable-british-economy-will-turn-nasty-next-year-says-man-who-predicted-2008-economic-crash-a7394316.html

No interview with anyone (the majority) who didn't believe it then? Personally I would stop being so gullible and certainly stop reading and quoting the Guardians rubbish. ---------- Post added 05-11-2016 at 21:34 ---------- British economy ‘will turn nasty next year’, says former Business Secretary Sir Vince Cable. No its not the economy that will turn nasty but the people. Expect the poll tax riots all over again but this time it will be the Brexit riots. Dardandec
The remoaners will be the cause of their self fulfilling prophecy. Not at all mate, i'm a remoaner, but as I mentioned on the original consequences thread i think it was, I can't lose either way, but I do really feel for the people who will suffer through wrexit. The saddest thing for me is I'll bet a lot of the people who will suffer voted for wrexit too.

Hey - just because you don't like a quotation which refutes the previous 'fact', no need to get so shirty - I was proving that some people did vote because they believed the £350M figure. Besides, don't you know the word gullible is being taken out of the dictionary? http://empirenews.net/merriam-webster-international-dictionary-drops-the-word-gullible-from-2015-edition/ ---------- Post added 05-11-2016 at 21:38 ---------- No its not the economy that will turn nasty but the people. And what happened with the poll tax riots - the poll tax got repealed and community charge came in - so what will happen with the Brexit riots, when there is no going back if Ms May has her way?
