sgtkate
The uncertainly is largely a false construct of the remain resistance. Both campaigns were very clear that a vote to leave would mean leaving the single market. There was no question over whether brexit would be full brexit until the remain folk realised that they'd lost the vote. Yet the leavers are now saying that we MUST stay in the single market. I don't think this is the remainers doing...we are just asking what the f'ing plan is...don't think that's too much to ask for is it?

All the leaders of the leave campaign said the reverse. (As did the remain leaders until they lost). There can be no plan beyond what has already been sketched out, until the talks start. The plan can only be formed in the context of the position taken by the EU. This idea of presenting the plan to parliament to vote on in advance is a ruse to pass legislation demanding Brexit be downgraded to half-Brexit. There's a distinction which needs to be made between single market access and membership. This has been deliberately muddied by the remain side. This is all part of the negotiating process. Surely parliament already gave consent for the triggering of article 50 when it voted to hold the referendum in the first place.
apelike
You mean this image that is all over the internet was not see http://tinyurl.com/p3fwdx3 No. That was the first one, not on the bus that was promptly withdrawn. ---------- Post added 09-11-2016 at 10:49 ---------- I'm not asking you about George Osborne, I'm asking you about the pledge on the Vote Leave Bus. You are saying there was a different slogan, but there is no evidence of this. It clearly states £50 million a day or £350 million a week. Both of which are the same amount. Er, I said it was a different slogan and you state there is no evidence of this and yet you just provided some. A slogan that states £350 million a week is different to a slogan that states £50 million a day. Edited November 9, 2016 by apelike
