Winter tyres - recommendations needed

Does anyone use Winter tyres, and if so, where can I get them ?

Does the garage store your other tyres for you over winter ?

Not winter tyres, but this week's Auto Express ( not dated, but a "winter special" edition, number 1447 ) has a test of All-season tyres, showing the relative merits of different makes, plus the relative performance of a true winter tyre and a summer tyre. I went for Goodyear's all weather tyres a few years ago as my old summer tyres were ready for replacement anyway. I bought them online, but fitted locally.
