Need some decorating advice

I need some decorating advice,

 

I need to paint all my rooms, bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen.

 

at the moment all I can think of is painting ceilings white and walls magnolia and maybe have a papered featured wall and colourful accessories.

 

any decoraters on here that can give me some better ideas.

 

 

A little more info, the front living will have a dark carpet black sofa. we have purchased oak laminate flooring for the bedrooms, solid wood oak floor for the back living room and black sofa. dark grey tiles and cream units in the kitchen
