oldiegirl Posted December 20, 2010 Share Posted December 20, 2010 bob paulson, was a friend of my fathers they worked together at baldwin and francis, as a kid we went to watch him ride,he also came to house all the time. he was known to me as uncle bob, he was part of the team that won the world championships, i met all the team and ivan maugers,etc even rode round the track on his bike, unfortunately he commited sucide in the 80s. As a boy I always thought there was something special about speedway racing, the noise, the smell of fuel and with cinders flying everywhere. It was great.
