I agree it was a job well done if the job was to demonstrate that peaceful protest and consultation have lessening value in an increasingly authoritarian society other than that it seems quite shameful.I guess the authorities won't look on it very kindly when folks start to get a bit more vocal and direct in future. vix2000 Posted November 17, 2016 Share Posted November 17, 2016 I remember years ago when I was a kid that we were called the socialist republic of south yorkshire. I see nothing has changed. They (SCC) will do what they want, and if they cant get their way legitimately they will do it underhandedly. They will do exactly what they want at spider park aswell, and, again, ruin a beautiful place. As an aside, for the posters that always for some reason have to have a go at anyone living in the west side of the city, it seems like they are getting some kind of kick out of any distress this causes, rather than looking at the conservation of our city.
