Rooney does look like shrek to be fair.

He does but is it right,I bet he's not happy being called Shrek though I have called him a lot worse.

Being fair, that's not really a way to judge something is it.

If Barack Obama wasn't offended by a racist joke, that doesn't mean it can't offend Paul, the black guy who works in Carpet Right, just because Obama is more powerful and high profile. He just might not care as he's probably heard it all before. Doesn't change the offence caused

Note 1 - what Peter Kay did wasn't particularly offensive at all.

Note 2 - there may or may not be anyone called Paul at Carpet Right.

Car Share was one of the first-ever series to premiere on BBC iPlayer in its entirety before a linear transmission.

As a box set, it received three million iPlayer requests in its first four days alone, before the series transmitted on BBC One to over six million viewers and huge critical acclaim as its haul of awards nominations and wins attests.

It won Best Comedy at the National Television Awards and Best Entertainment Programme at the TRIC Awards, received four awards at the RTS North West Awards and a further two BAFTA Television Awards nominations.

All those awards and "outdated" and "unfunny"?

Agreed. It was end-of-the-pier Blackpool humour. Not side splitting but not offensive either.
