Take ferry to Calais. A26 (avoiding Saint-Quentin) then take A4 at Reims. Carry on past Freyming-Merlebach and pick up A35 at Vendenheim. Hang a right down the D4 at Forstfeld, over the Rhine, few miles (kilometers) … Baden (Baden). You'll need gloves and a wooly scarf though, this time of year.
