JonCoe
Does anyone have recommendations for gymnastics classes for 6/7 year old boys please? My son is pretty keen, but feels uncool when he turns up and it's all girls...

benjaminny
My son (6 years) goes to SIV hillsborough on a Saturday morning at 12:00 - he is often the only boy (there is one other boy in his class sometimes) but the ratio of boys is higher in more advanced classes. He doesn't seem to mind or notice, maybe because the class is really focussed so there is not much milling around. I would recommend the class highly. (And gymnastics is great - when I see the children doing effortless cartwheels and somersaults, it just looks fantastic)

bluecanary
My almost 7 year old son also goes to sit at Hillsborough, Thursday at 6pm. Is one of only two boys in a class of around 20, and sometimes does get bothered by that. Would be lovely if more boys started to do this fantastic sport, particularly following the success at the Olympics.
