pintor
Having recently taken in three parcels on separate days for my neighbours I wondered, if when I sign for them do I/ have I ?, A agree to see that the parcel reaches its destination, therefore completing the delivery job for the delivery firm (unpaid!)? B have to take it in until neighbour collects it? C is it insured if I drop or break it whilst storing or taking it round to neighbour? Also what happens if neighbour doesn't collect I.e. expecting me to take it round?

If by doing these good deeds, it is creating stress or any worries, then stop accepting and signing for any more parcels.
swede1973
You looking too much into it. Just pop the parcel round when you see them.
smithy266
We make sure the parcel delivery company has left a card, and wait for the neighbour to collect.
MSYltd
C - after it's been handled by parcel people it is impossible to break it any more unless you kick it around the block on your way to neighbour
Flexo
When you sign for a parcel, you are signing that you have accepted it in good condition (but not checked the contents). So if it is damaged then you need to make sure that the driver notes this and perhaps sign it as "DAMAGED". Sign as "UNCHECKED" if unsure. Apart from that, just use basic common sense....
