Ford transit fuel injectors

Recommended Posts

i have been told that my diesel fuel injectors want replacing.

does anyone know the best/cheapest place to buy them?

cheers

Just an idea but...

... have you tried cleaning them with a fuel additive such as Redex?

It's only a few pounds a bottle (but make sure you get the diesel version), and has got to be worth a try... :)

If you are getting starting problems or black smoke your injectors may need attention, however just check your air filter is clean first. You can get your injectors reconditioned, or exchange units are sometimes available.I used to take mine to Hoggs,he is at 386 Cricket Inn Road, Phone 2725692.

Hoggs can also test them for the op ,I think it's about £10 per injector ,if they are faulty and the op buys replacements off hoggs they waive the test fee

If you get replacements they should need to be programmed in to your van
