Help with legal matter (builder)

had builder come and do my drive and drop kerb and decking at a cost £2700 anyway he did the drive but had to wait for Sheffield council permission to do the kerb. The work began on 4th July this year all I can say about the drive I was out when it was done its up and down holds water the decking has not been laid the right way to save money on decking I think

and I am still waiting for drop kerb .I know I am going to get jump on now I payed up front I know had all from the wife anyway I phone and text them we will do it this week next week and on it keeps going anyway I think the only way to go now is court any feedback would help

Send a recorded letter to him outlining that you want the remaining work done by a certain date. Make it clear you are willing to go down the legal route if it isn't completed. Good Luck.

What written/text/email proof do you hold of your agreement?

Only approved contractors can install a drop kerb, if you paid some cowboy to do it chances are you've lost your ass there.
