Halibut
He was a very talented man, sad he's gone so early.
sedith
Sad when anyone dies but I couldn't name any decent song he ever did. 'Last Christmas' which is quite poignant!

gomgeg
He wasn't really my cup of tea but I must admit he did a terrific rendition of 'Somebody to Love' at the Freddy Mercury tribute concert. RIP George. Totally agree, I don't usually like cover versions and didn't think anybody else could do a Queen song better than Freddie but he really nailed it. taxman
Watching some videos of both Wham! and George Michael only emphasises how hugely untalented Andrew Ridgeley was. Some of George Michael's songwriting was brilliant, even to a non fan like myself.
TORONTONY
Totally agree, I don't usually like cover versions and didn't think anybody else could do a Queen song better than Freddie but he really nailed it. He was almost Freddy's replacement at one time. However I do think Paul Rogers did a lot of Queen songs quite well too, in his own style.
