Alcoblog
Due to an unusually high gas bill recently, I naturally wondered what the bill would be for the Sun over the same period? Yes, I know the Sun burns hydrogen as opposed to what comes out of the cooker, but for the sake of argument, let's assume it (Sun) burns the same gas. I've got as far as the Sun burning 600,000,000 tons of hydrogen per second, which, according to npower is what they estimate I use in the same sorta timescale. Unfortunately, I've got a bit stuck after this bit as I've nearly run out of noughts in my calculator. Can anyone help … quarterly bill for the Sun?
