tinfoilhat
Now cancer operations are being cancelled due to lack of beds, while Theresa May claims there is no crisis. I saw the headline but I don't know the numbers or the reasons. It's a nice headline though.
Jacktari
I explained quite clearly what I was 'burbling' on about - indeed I gave a number of different examples. If you are having difficulty understanding I can try and explain it even more simply. I'm still unsure about what you meant by the 'agenda of the privatisers' changing the amount of visible outrage. Perhaps you would care to clarify? I merely mean that the true opinions of the 'people' are never reported, or broadcast. Only selected propaganda is allowed to see the light of day. That is how they manipulate and use the 'people' for their own ends. Look how they fooled so many over the EU, tricked and fooled into self destruction to further the aims of people who are not friends of this country. These same people will profit immensely from all this, when the NHS is destroyed and sold to the same forces who want the destruction of the UK. These same people will profit immensely from all this, when the NHS is destroyed and sold to the same forces who want the destruction of the UK. So when there were big waiting lists in the NHS under Labour and they bought in private providers to help reduce those waiting lists, the government manipulated the media so that the outrage amongst NHS workers (which you said was happening but wasn't mentioned) was kept from public view? Clearly the Conservative party must have much less control over the media - as we have had numerous headlines and articles from prominent people within the NHS, and it certainly doesn't seem that views of NHS workers are being withheld from the public. Do you think the Labour Party has more control over the media than the Conservative party then? If not, how did Labour manage to hide all this outrage when the Conservative party can't? Or do you think there wasn't nearly the level of outrage when the Labour Party were privatising the NHS, which was my original point.

Your posts read like something put out by "The party" in 1984. People are entitled to come to different conclusions and judgements from you. That doesn't make them stupid, "misguided" or evil. They just disagree. You're going to have to learn to live with that. Edited January 15, 2017 by unbeliever

You seem to have an agenda, that I will 'have to learn to live with'. sounds like something the strange man in the USA would say. My agenda is that all peoples' votes should be counted and respected. My agenda is that democracy may not be perfect but it is the only defence against tyranny. Wha'ts you agenda? So far it seems to be socialism by any means. Bob Arctor
I saw the headline but I don't know the numbers or the reasons. It's a nice headline though. I heard about it on the radio. Royal College of Surgeons saying it's unprecedented as cancer operations are usually prioritised. We should listen to them, they know what they are talking about. We should listen to them, they know what they are talking about. They are experts, with a bias; the skeptics among us dont like experts

We should listen to them, they know what they are talking about. I'm a huge fan of experts. We should listen but I'd like the whole story. You could have had a surgeon slip in the car park. Operations do get cancelled but how does January this year compare with last year?
Cyclone
Didn't all elective surgery get cancelled for the queens birthday? So we can cancel it for that, but not for the hospitals being over capacity?
