melthebell
ok another "experts" view that backs up why i think hes unsuitable for the job Dr Mike Cornfield, associate professor of Political Management at the George Washington University, told BBC Radio 5 live's Anna Foster he thought President Trump's address was the "angriest inaugural address" he had ever heard. Dr Cornfield said he thought the new president's approach was "confrontational", "vintage populism" and "extraordinary for a man who did not win the popular vote and did not fill this Mall". hes an angry man, why should he be angry on probably the happiest day of his life? whats he gonna do when he has to get real angry? press the nuclear button he now has access to? Snapshot
And these are the Clinton voters. But Clinton voters are all liberal. Surely it can't be them.
area 51
But Clinton voters are all liberal. Surely it can't be them. These liberals seem to be showing a lot of anger to say they are the peaceful ones who want to make love not war.Waits for a lot of angry vitriol back in response. chalga
Why? Is he up for Miss World now? Locker room talk suggests he may well be,and the Kremlin may or may not be able to confirm it.
blake
Trump's now got the ball. Seeing as he has no political experience and is 70 years of age, it's going to be interesting to see what will happen. God bless America.
top4718
Whether you agree or disagree with him being president (I fully agree) can we not judge in 12months time before turning into prophets of doom. The Bush/Blair axis were far more evil than President Trump will ever be.
Litotes
So... 1st day promises - how many will he keep...? Hilary in jail Wall up £350M to the NHS (was that him?) Also... —Introduce a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits. —Freeze hiring for the federal government to reduce payrolls, although the military, public safety and public health agencies would be exempt. —Ban White House and congressional officials from becoming lobbyists for five years after they leave the government. —Announce plans to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico or withdraw from the deal. —Formally withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. —Lift restrictions on mining coal and drilling for oil and natural gas. —Remove any Obama-era roadblocks to energy projects such as the Keystone XL pipeline. —Cancel U.S. payments to U.N. climate change programs and redirect the money to U.S. water and environmental infrastructure. —Stop all federal funding to "sanctuary cities," places where local officials don't arrest or detain immigrants living in the country illegally for federal authorities. —Suspend immigration from regions associated with terrorism where vetting is difficult ---------- Post added 20-01-2017 at 18:10 ---------- Whether you agree or disagree with him being president (I fully agree) can we not judge in 12months time before turning into prophets of doom. The Bush/Blair axis were far more evil than President Trump will ever be. Hold on, you are asking us to hold off judgement for 12 months and then immediately judging that he couldn't outdo Bush/Blair?
