Cyclone
Anywhere in Europe will be hot in August, so France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, etc...
blake
anywhere in the Middle East is out really now, with Israel/Eilat and Dubai being the safest however even those are probably too iffy for most people to consider. Florida and central America are not so far, too far for one week I would say but not two weeks. south east Asia Thailand etc, really even two weeks is not enough when it takes at least 12 hours to get there. Goa is closer, that would be OK with two weeks. for one week in January if you want warm weather only option is the Canaries and Madeira really where there's good flight connections. Ghostrider How many tourists were there on your 3 last visits? We had friends who went last year to marmaris and they said never again as it was like a ghost town
Jeffrey Shaw
There does seem an odd correlation between hot countries and political/financial instability. Anywhere between the two Tropics, in face, could be considered jinxed!
