The well preserved fossil is about one millimeter in size and is thought to have lived between grains of sand. Oddly it has only one orifice which probably means it ate and defecated through the same opening. Could this extraordinary find explain why some people talk absolute **** Sorry I put this in the wrong section could someone on admin move it to General Discussions please. The Paliobioligist who was involved in identifying it as a new to science species says it resembles a wrinkled bag and the opening resembles an anus. As it lived in the sand it would seem reasonable to me to think about it possibly absorbing nutrients from the detritus which falls to the sea bed and the opening in fact being the organ of defecation.
