Early 70s? Not much info out there on this place Bob- did you ever go in?

i used to rent a workshop on cross bedford street from about 1977 it was not there then the only companies were john gibbs builder,sheff tax,and a bakery name not known and mick grant tuning.

It went between '66 and '77 then. Narrows it down only a little though

To judge from Kelly's directories, the General Gordon Inn closed between 1972 and 1973. Here are scans of the Cross Bedford Street entries from the 1973 directory (compiled in mid-1972) and the one for 1974.
