Tents on Park Sq Roundabout

Recommended Posts

SCC will probably have a court application for removal of the tents.

Let's hope so.

It seems that some 'do gooders' have provided the tents, they get occupied in the evening by the 'activist/protest' type of person who later leave and go home at the end of the night, leaving just a couple of folk in the tents who may or may not be homeless. They have even started to destroy each others tents.

The real homeless want nothing to do with the fiasco, preferring to sleep in the town centre with their begging cup next to them, mostly keeping themselves to themselves.

And then you have the alcoholic street drinkers that litter the town centre with their begging, arguing and fighting amongst themselves all evening, and growling at passers by before then going home for the night, whilst the genuine homeless keep out of their way and keep themselves to themselves.

That just about sums it up. Now, where are those tent clearance teams?

Post #86 warpig, you claimed you could answer the simple question you'd been asked.

We're still waiting for you to prove it by doing so.

This is obviously frustrating you isn't it

I did answer the question, my reply was yes.

And I dont think that 'we're still waiting' is necessarily correct. I think it is just you that is waiting, nobody else really cares.

Can you answer the question?

Yes...

Well, go ahead, don't be shy, answer it.

Are you disputing that the numbers have increased?

Despite saying that "yes" you can answer this, you have continued to avoid to do so.

My answer to whether I'm disputing the figures is yes.

Not sure why you found this so difficult :huh:

Okay, good. I found it difficult because you refused to answer for multiple pages.

So, I've provided my sources for the assertion. Government figures, charity figures, surveys, they all agree that the number of homeless rough sleepers have increased.

What's your counter evidence?

I did answer it with a simple 'Yes'. Didn't you see it?

To answer that, maybe I could quote your good self..

Why should I tell you?....I don't think the rules of debate mean that I need to explain to you why that is.

So why now must I tell you?

You couldn't even qualify your yourself at the time about why the numbers had increased, so you must have googled it afterwards in the hope you were correct?...

I never claimed to have an answer as to why they have increased, so why do you expect me to explain it?

Recap on this, and then tell me what the name for it is..........

'Can you answer the question'

'we're all waiting for you to do so.'

'warpig hasn't answered a single question he was asked.'

'we're still waiting for you to provide an answer.'

Go ahead, don't be shy, answer it.'

'you have continued to avoid doing so etc.'

'you refused to answer for multiple pages.'

Then this from the above author.........

'Why should I tell you ?' 'I don't think the rules of debate mean that I should explain to you.'

What did those doctors staying at Fawlty Towers say ...'There's enough material there for a psychiatric conference !'
