Isabelle
Anyone else doing this? I am trying to do no added sugar for the month. No artificial sweeteners or honey or male syrup either. I'm on my 9th day, and don't miss it that much to be honest. I don't feel any different but Im sure I've lost weight (not that I needed to). I'm hoping it will reset my palate. There is far too much added sugar/artificial sweeteners in our food. I'd leave maple syrup alone too but for different reasons. You're right not to listen sugarbabes but to be safe avoid The Archies (google it like I had to) and certain Def Leppard albums. El Cid
Fruit juice is getting a bad press lately, would that be on your banned list?

Haha I didn't spot that typo, stupid autocorrelation on my phone! Obviously I meant maple syrup ---------- Post added 10-02-2017 at 18:25 ---------- Fruit juice is getting a bad press lately, would that be on your banned list? Not had any fruit juice. I've been having a smoothie in the morning made with blueberries, raspberries and banana. Other than that, plain water

Jacktari
In this house we are doing well. Still taking sugar in drinks, but no sweeties, or sweetened foods. The amazing thing is, I have put on a stone in the last fortnight. I am going back to eating jam doughnuts, I was a lot slimmer. I think the sugary stodge fills you up, so you eat less overall.
