ianparkin
Ebay buyers can be strange too I sold a quite expensive motorcycle on ebay £9k+ The chap who bought it was north of Glasgow He sent a deposit of £300 after the auction ended Said he would be a while before he came for it Eventually he came in a hired van took him 9 hours to get here He and a mate looked at it for 5 mins the "Expert mate" declared that the engine was knackered just by listening to it They then hopped in the van and went home Nothing said about the deposit I sold it on to someone who I have kept in touch with who has used it for 5 years and 12,000 miles engines still fine

El Cid
I once bought a car on Ebay for £810 without even seeing it. It served me well. Ebay is really good if you want a certain model. It has been said that I think about things too much. I want a VW Passat estate, 2nd choice Vauxhall Zafira, when I have saved enough pennies ---------- Post added 18-02-2017 at 15:02 ---------- Just bought an 06 megane estate on ebay, not seen it yet, I like a gamble for £350 It will let you if if its a bargain ---------- Post added 19-02-2017 at 17:06 ---------- The car is as I was expecting, he didnt mention the lack of a radio tho, but he was upfront and honest generally. It was actually £325, only one key card and a few other issues. Edited February 18, 2017 by El Cid
