PeteC
Dayrider on first has gone up from £2.70 TO £3.50! - and yet the bus drivers are still arrogant, still buses are overcrowded and STILL, no-one ever puts the step down when i want to get our pram off - which makes things worse
seanyboy
The day rider on First has been £3.50 for a while now, I agree with the rest.
Mattenmurg
Much cheaper to use Stagecoach/ Yorkshire Terrier if you can. Obviously if they don't do your route then you're stuck. I switched when they started charging £15 for a weekly rider.
mr craig
I pretty much agree with what you say but £3.50 really isn't that much money for a days travel.
Tyranna
My advice is, Get a Bike!! the only problem in Sheffield are the hills, but there are some decent cycle routes which avoid a lot of them..! You can find out about the local cycling Campaign group Pedal Pushers from most bike shops.
Pauline BHG
I agree with you Pete - I find the cost shocking. It costs less for travel in london !!
clipboard
prices for buses in this city is absolutely ridiculous - how arethey gonna encourage people to use public transport more when it costs that much!
Zoggi
It really shows when you compare the mainline fare to the buses that come in from derbyshire, which are council regulated. There's a TM Travel bus down ecclesall road, and it costs just 95p to get from Hunter's bar into town, compared to £1.50!!! Even the Yorkshire Terrier is £1.
Big Milch
I pretty much agree with what you say but £3.50 really isn't that much money for a days travel. Id say that depends on how much use you get from the ticket
shells2909
I pay £60 a month for my travel pass, i can use first or terrier buses as well as supertram. I wouldnt mind paying this half as much if the first buses actually turned up on time, or even at all sometimes!!
