Then they decided it was a good idea to host Soviet nukes. What stops Cuba trading with everybody else? Oh Yes. Their economy is a basket case. I remember well the stand off with the nuclear weapons. President Kennedy squaring up to President Khrushchev. That was the closest we ever came to destruction.
