Thorpy
My dad worked at Hill Brothers as a holloware buffer just before retiring, then went back part time after my mum died. My dad's cousin owned half the business of Hill Brothers. He too was a holoware buffer.

trastrick
I just had a look on Google Street View and at first got this - https://www.dropbox.com/s/88hbgmnqpzogcoi/suffolk_road_1.png?dl=0 Then stepped back a few yards and got the later picture here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/ernaiiu0cjamfwp/suffolk_road_2.png?dl=0 If you are asked to sign in you can just close the sign in window to view. Something like deja vue drew me to open that picture. My uncle was a chemist and he had, or shared, one of those units in the old grey building (not his main shop). I would go down there (circa 1950) and wash out medicine bottles for him on Saturday mornings for a little spending money! God knows how careful or hygenic they were in those days! Beamish
I used to pass there on the bus on my way to school in the late 70's and someone there had a white Lotus Esprit just like the James Bond one. Looked really cool. Chris
