Plastics in the food chain.

Recommended Posts

In our " disposable culture " plastic is everywhere. But how much of it has found its way into our food-and consequently into our tissue ? Apparently the seas are full of it and contaminate some of the species of fish that we eat.

Anybody clued up on this ?

If every piece of plastic that has ever been used is still on the planet, wouldn't we be up to our necks in it? :suspect:

Obelix,

"Dr Mercola " ? Yes.

It's pretty pointless me putting something on the Forum and then criticising it myself.

I'm interested in what you and others have to say.

Is it all rubbish and made up and of little value ? Is the DEFRA analysis quackery ?

"Reducing all things plastic ". That did tickle me: "bring your own mug " .

I'll give that a try at Costa . I can just imagine the staff's faces as I offer up my old cracked tin mug and ask for a, " double latte Bolivian banana split with chocolate coffee thingy -Governor ".
