petemcewan
In our " disposable culture " plastic is everywhere. But how much of it has found its way into our food-and consequently into our tissue ? Apparently the seas are full of it and contaminate some of the species of fish that we eat. Anybody clued up on this ?
cgksheff
Many. Presumably you have read that which some of them have reported.

Dardandec
Plastic like diamonds is forever. https://www.marineconservation.org.au/data/pdf/PlasticsAreForeverCyclePoster.pdf If every piece of plastic that has ever been used is still on the planet, wouldn't we be up to our necks in it? In our " disposable culture " plastic is everywhere. But how much of it has found its way into our food-and consequently into our tissue ? I'd be more concerned about diesel particulates in my brain slowly destroying it.

Obelix
From Dr Mercola? I wouldnt waste electrons on that quack. Really Pete you need to get some decent credible sites and do a bit of critical reading.
petemcewan
Obelix, "Dr Mercola " ? Yes. It's pretty pointless me putting something on the Forum and then criticising it myself. I'm interested in what you and others have to say. Is it all rubbish and made up and of little value ? Is the DEFRA analysis quackery ? "Reducing all things plastic ". That did tickle me: "bring your own mug " . I'll give that a try at Costa . I can just imagine the staff's faces as I offer up my old cracked tin mug and ask for a, " double latte Bolivian banana split with chocolate coffee thingy -Governor ".
