Texas
They say on some still nights, at midnight, you can hear the ghostly sound of dancers still doing the 'Hokey Cokey'.

stpetre
It was on Barnsley Road, just up from the tolegate, it was a white building [Deys] and did become the Mojo club. Yes Dey's and later the Mojo Club (after them a Bingo Hall) were at 555 Pitsmoor Road, the other side of the road is Barnsley Road divided by the brick wall that is still there. The premises long since demolished are now private apartments called Firshill Mews. As a local lad I often wonder ; 'Mews'..in Pitsmoor ? The Traveler
Dey's Dancing was a the home of The Allen's in the 56's I do not recall the matriarchs name but I knew Dave Allen well .Dave went onto bigger and greater things owning night clubs " The Bird Cage " at Mexborough was one plus later night clubs in Sheffield Town. Dave is and was a great person and I hired him to play at my wedding in 1968. He also played at The Locarno in the mid 65's . Oh happy Dey's.....
