Its certainly a good excuse for the usual Sheffield forum members to get their knickers in a twist. Its only for the religious activism course which is hardly the most widespread. If I were taking it then I would just follow the rules. Its not hard to write neutrally for the most part. Doubt it will spread to other subjects, but am sure SF will get excited if it happens again.
