I'm not sure I'd want to be involved, as I don't know all of the story.

 

I saw this petition posted on Facebook, with a longer story that suggested the father was abusing the children, with various questionable (in fact incorrect) medical points. I can't remember the exact details, but it was accusations of infections that could only be caused by sexual contact, and the facts were basically wrong.

 

Without knowing the details, I wouldn't feel the justification to get involved I don't think. Family issues are always far more detailed than one side's account will suggest.

To be fair, that comes from the lady herself. It's one account.

 

I'm not saying it's not true, nor that what's happening is right, but I only have half the story, so it's hard to judge. I have to trust that the authorities will do the right thing.

I have to be honest, that without further independent info I agree with your summary here. Hopefully the full truth will come out ASAP and the children will end up with the best possible care.

I think that's absolutely the outcome that needs to happen. Kids should never be put in these situations.

I hope this case is dealt with properly

 

The mother, who is described as 'a gentle and devoted mother who is adored by her boys,' obviously didn't think it was being dealt with properly which is why she ran away with her children.

 

She is now in prison and her boys in care. I cannot see how this is an improvement on what they had, which was a warm and loving home.

 

Secret courts are a menace.

Chief Superintendent Helen Chamberlain said yesterday, 'The boys did not appear to be physically harmed, but we will be looking into any psychological damage.' The brothers are now being assessed by specialist care experts.

 

When you think what goes on in care homes, if they weren't damaged before, let's hope they're not damaged by that.
