wendyG
Hi guys,my hubby rebuilt a 4 brick high wall at the weekend, and we want to paint it,we've bought some masonry paint for it,but will we need to prime it first, and if so do's it have to be an exterior paint,or can we just use any white emulsion as a primer undercoat? If we do need a primer, can anyone suggest one that's not a dear one, thanks. carosio
Those guidelines might be for a wall that has a damp-proof course? I presume yours hasn't, so some masonry paints allow the wall to "breathe" and expel the moisture that might be within (particularly low down), so resisting peeling.
