TORONTONY
People always say this, it makes them feel good about the sentence, trust me they will not be harmed, its just how prison life is I don't mean actual violence, but the 24/7 fear of it. Prison guards are human too, I have heard about lots of cases of 'turning a blind eye' to intimidation.

ando_1
The sentences are a joke there should be a mandatory minimum sentence for this kind of offence 25 years hard labour . Not cuddled up on the nonce wing watching tv protected by the gaurds. Theres was 27 all of one gang in court yesterday in Huddersfield and were bailed should they not have been remanded our justice system is a joke at times. Just because an individual is charged does not mean they are 'guilty' does it. Bailed doubtless because the offending is non recent (historic) and a court determined that they (possibly with the agreement of the prosecution) should be bailed. If you want everyone charged to be locked up - get your hand in your pocket and pay for the infrastructure to deal with that.
kidley
Their sentences will seem like they got treble, by the time their fellow inmates have done with them. nothing will happen to them inside, they will be segregated to a wing with other pedaphiles and child sex offenders, mores the pity
TORONTONY
nothing will happen to them inside, they will be segregated to a wing with other pedaphiles and child sex offenders, mores the pity Didn't Sutcliffe the Yorksure Ripper get beaten up in a high security prison? There are also cases in the States where sex offenders and murderers have been killed or badly beaten while in a so called isolated , protected environment . Prison Guards hate these offenders just as much as the other inmates, and can sometimes "be forgetful " of their duties , just like folks can be in any workplace. Being on remand does not mean there guilty but out of 27 im sure 1 or more is still at it if not all . Youve just made 27 new friends

Youve just made 27 new friends If you have such insight into these individuals and their guilt you really should pass on your information to the police - I am sure they will be receptive of the cogent evidence of breaches of bail you seem to be saying you know all about. But if your just spouting then fill your boots.
