TinsleyTT
Do you have memories of the Tinsley Picture Palace? You are invited to come along and share them, and watch a classic film, at our FREE Tinsley Picture Palace evening on Thursday 27th April, 6.30-8.30pm. The Picture Palace in Tinsley first opened in 1912 and was a popular entertainment spot until it close in the 1950s. On Thursday we will show the last film screened there: 'Dry Rot', a family friendly comedy starring Sid James, so please come along for some free cinema snacks and enjoy a movie. The event will also be a chance to share memories of the Picture Palace and the old cinemas of Sheffield, as well as social life in the 20th century. If you can't make it but have some memories to share, please comment below or get in touch with me- we would love to hear them!
