Mine didn't so I broke it up into small pieces that would...

 

If it was still in fairly good condition you could have phoned British Heart Foundation and the would have taken it for free and put it in one of their shops to sell. Alternatively advertise it for free on SF and someone would have probably taken it.

Only if it has a fire warning tag on it still I believe. I've heard about charities refusing sofas without warning triangles.
