Guest makapaka
No it didn't. It mentioned the proportion who responded as against but not the proportion who responded as in favour. No response neither indicates for nor against. This was presumably fed to them by the council trying to make it look like more people are in favour of the tree cutting. It was 6% for / 6% against wasn’t it?
Crosser
I'm in absolute favour of felling the damned ROADSIDE (on verges etc) trees, they are a menace, a nuisance and a danger! The block light in summer, drop leaves all over in the autumn, provide birds with a suitable place to crap on my car in winter, and do damage to my paths & garden with their roots in summer....... What's to like about them? CHOP EM DOWN AMEY! I'LL HELP IF I CAN
Cyclone
I take it you've no idea of the benefits that they provide?
Crosser
I take it you've no idea of the benefits that they provide? And what would they be? as opposed to planting more trees in (say) woods/forests and other places where trees should be, where they wouldn't be an annoyance in cities where people tend to live?
