truman
because Audi driver? Their intended destination is irrelevant, they remained in their lane throughout. There is no question of that. Even though it was the wrong one...
geared
Even though it was the wrong one... They never reached their destination, so can you say for CERTAIN they were in the wrong lane?? The black car never left it's lane. He entered the "roundabout" in the wrong lane... but this is now becoming a circular argument (see what I did there? ) only for people who don't seem to want to watch the video? Seriously he never left his sodding lane, how hard can it be?? Edited May 18, 2017 by geared
SnailyBoy
because Audi driver? Their intended destination is irrelevant, they remained in their lane throughout. There is no question of that. So ignored the fact that the left lane could contain vehicles intending to go straight on, as indicated by the road signage and markings.

Obelix
He entered the "roundabout" in the wrong lane... but this is now becoming a circular argument (see what I did there? ) He never left his lane at all.... Have a look here. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Batley/@53.745565,-1.640898,3a,75y,28.83h,92.54t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1sJT7VfmMhWBSyJIp3rME2nA!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo2.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DJT7VfmMhWBSyJIp3rME2nA%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D273.13013%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!4m5!3m4!1s0x48795fe289ab4b01:0x9d69a51635cd025d!8m2!3d53.717028!4d-1.635083 You can go straight on in both lanes according to the arrows. But when you get to the roundabout the markings take the lane on the left up the M62. You can go straight on BUT the onus is on you to change lanes safely. White car failed to change lanes safely. That's all that matters ultimately.
