Manchester Arena explosion 22/05/2017

openly supporting by social media, attending rallys outside mosques, searching and downloading Jihadi and terrorist material , incitement to join isis or any radical group, openly protesting on the streets of the uk and threatening to behead those against islam?????

I've never seen a rally at the local mosque here, it is on a bit of a busy junction though, so not entirely convenient: if I was holding a rally I'd hold it down the road a bit.

As it happens, just the other week there was quite a big rally, not far down the road. They had a messianic figure and a grab bag of rousing slogans: is that the kind of thing you mean?

The Tories response: Put pressure on the social media companies.

This is pathetic. The internet does not cause these problems. The Tories can't control the internet companies. They have no jurisdiction over the encryption or the content. All they can resort to is outright blocking of content or selective blocking of content. Then we are moving towards a police state.

These are desperate ideas from a party that just can't accept that continued military action in the Middle East, political control and underfunding of security services, vicious cuts to policing, disastrous past immigration policy and even worse future immigrations plans are going to deliver a ****storm to our streets and lead to more young people being maimed and killed.

Despite all this it's all the fault of the internet. Not them, not their continuation of Blair's screwed up ideals.

It's beyond belief.

Beyond belief you finish with.

Well, its beyond belief that you don't think that the internet cannot contribute to wanna be Jihadi's. They can view material coonected with Jihad 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

And if you think these people only bomb us because of our Foreign policy / Blair leading us into the Iraq war, then I believe you have your head in the sand.

These people despise our way of life, despise Western values. Hence the bombing of children at a pop concert.

The kid flew jihadi flags out his bedroom window.

His Iman banned him from the mosque and reported him to the police.

His friends reported him to the police.

His family reported him to the police.

MI5 knew about the threat he posed.

Yet he managed to kill and maim 122 people.

And somehow that is Corbyns fault. Not May's. Not Rudd's.

Beyond belief.

where did I say it was Corbyns fault? So two organisations are to blame , the government and the jihadi terrorists ? sounds like you are trying to spread the blame around

Do you realise how many people our Security Services are concerned about ?

3000 are classed as a possible threat, with a further 20,000 on the radar.

Now that's a hell of a lot of people to monitor and react too.

Of course we all wish the Security Services had picked this 'potential murderer' up.

The sheer scale of people they are concerned about is probably out of control.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Corbyn has voted 17 times against anti-terror legislation !
