Electric radiator advice

Recommended Posts

I need to install a wall panel radiator (electric) in a small room but i'm struggling to get one of an appropriate size for the spot i've .

They all appear to be in the standard landscape mode.

What i'd like to know is can i turn it portrait mode ?

The grills would then be on the side, with the switches on the top.

I've got a maximum 40cm width and really struggling BUT i found these online

https://www.futuradirect.co.uk/collections/featured-collection/products/futura-eco-1000w-electric-panel-heater-radiator

Any guidance appreciated before i'm made to fit a towel rail.

If you don't know what you are doing with high wattage electric equipment. Be ever so careful to understand and follow the instructions or your house could catch fire. If not sure consult an electrician.

Why electric radiator? Ordinary system radiator is cheaper to run and a lot safer.

Have you looked at the oil type ones, just plug it in.

not enough room to actually get one in (well there is but you then couldn't use the porch too well) so looking for wall mountable but has to be less then 50cm wide.

Most of the small ones are only 400w frost preventers.

cheers TFh

the sub 500w i dont think will (she thinks) keep the room warm. But the 900 has potential although it is a bit ugly to look at.

I have found a 750 panel heater which seems to hit the spot.

Just need a sparky now.
