dutch
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/election-2017-theresa-may-hung-parliament-majority-jeremy-corbyn-conservative-labour-yougov-poll-a7771186.html Oh dear. Too much to ask for, for Labour to win outright. However, a hung Parliament is looking more likely as election day comes closer. I can't see how May can still be party leader if she doesn't win with a majority. May is running down at breaking point. She has worked hard and it is showing. This is just a guess but it wouldn't surprise me she is taking medication to assist her from crumbling at the moment. People start to realise corbyn is not an IRA terrorist sympathiser. I don't think his dreams and good intentions can be realised in our political system but it will sure be better for a while than what the Tories are doing now. It will balance things for a while. About all that money tree business, Tories rather waste money on HS2 to save a few minutes than for kids to get books or smaller classes or a nurse to get a wage increase that matches inflation. Manlinose
I know the BBC has to be scrupulously balanced in the lead up to an election, but why does the current leaders debate feature the leader of a party that the vast majority of the UK electorate can't vote for. I realise the SNP is the third largest party in the House of Commons, but it isn't a national party so why is it on a national debate programme - UKIP got almost three times as many votes as the SNP at the last General Election and the Greens almost as many, but they don't get a platform like tonight's programme
swarfendor437
The spirit of the people The spirit of the people The spirit of the people The rhythm has begun ... Old men with their protocol Lead us off to war Sometimes we don't even know What we're fighting for Marching to the beat of their drum Leaders we no longer trust Told too many lies The promises they made to us Were never realised Hear me now the chant has begun Nowhere left to turn No-one left to turn to Voices raised in anger They don't have the answer Our whole world's in danger Oil slicks on the ebbing tide Progress out of hand Blind men choke on swallowed pride Heads down in the sand Don't wanna see the damage they've done Trees destroyed by acid rain Falling from the skies When our children place the blame Who will tell them why Hear me now the chant has begun Why is love so rare All this talk of warfare Voices raised in anger They don't have an answer Pass the word along We can wait no longer Too much blind destruction Follow love's instructions Now the chant has begun (chant) Make your choice there's no escape Add your voice, the chant has begun
