Major Incident On London Bridge 03/06/2017

Recommended Posts

A guy who was in charge of cobra during the London bombings some years back said we should kick them out if they're not British citizens,Jesus we've been saying this for years.

A guy who was in charge of COBRA? What, the caretaker?

Cobra is the Cabinet Office Briefing Room A. It's a room.

It helps if you know what you are talking about before you quote unnamed people who have jobs that don't exist.

So on the TV this morning someone said 'the guy that was in charge of Cobra said we should deport terrorists?"

What channel was that on?

ITV,so when May says she's heading a contra meeting its a meeting about a room?

Is that what she says? Or does she say she is chairing a Cobra committee meeting?

The person you have described by the way, is Andy Hayman, who resigned because of a sex and expenses scandal.

He was described during the News of the World enquiry as a 'dodgy geezer.'

Questions also need to be answered as to why attacks in the UK have suddenly increased, what are we doing abroad that would cause this sudden spike in activity, if this exposes people at the top then again so be it.

Didn't his name crop up during the mistaken Menezes shooting.

Indeed it did.

So, I put it to UKDobby that the opinion of someone who's name you can't remember, who you thought had a job that doesn't even exist and has been disgraced.....might not be the best to listen to.

Just curious to know if armed soldiers are on the streets of London? We saw them walking round fully armed and dangerous after the Manchester attack. Were they just in Manchester? And are they still there? Or was it just a piece of theatre?

What were you watching? The soldiers were in London! Quite obviously.

The purpose was to provide an armed presence to certain venues to free up police officers to do police work.

Making a bomb out of TATP isn't so easy. It had to be assumed that collaborators were involved who might plan their own attacks rather than be taken alive. The police now believe he purchased the components all by himself hence the threat level was reduced.

Personally, I thought it would have been prudent to keep it at the highest level until after the election.

Its only a fortnight since the Manchester bomb thread and here we are again.

Another barbaric attack in the name of religion.

Have / will attitudes change this time ?

Already there seems to be a change in terminology and rhetoric from our Politicians / Political pundits - down to the people at work and down the pub.

May says 'enough is enough' What she means by that, only time will tell.

There needs to be some very uncomfortable conversations between Muslim leaders (from various factions) and our Political elite. Everybody seems scared stiff to say aloud, what they think privately.

The sooner we all have this conversation, the sooner we have chance to live side by side.

We obviously need stricter laws regarding being able to detain people who we think are a threat. So we know exactly where they are.

The longer these attacks go on, the deeper the divide.

We don't know the background to these last 3 muderers yet, will be interesting to see where they come from and how much we knew about them.

Again one had already been reported twice from the Muslim community for extremist views, that's the fault of the authorities not the Muslim community
